Monster has pics of the Spice Girls... and Frankenstein
WORBOYS sleeps in an 8ft by 6ft cell with pictures of Frankenstein, killer cult leader Charles Manson and the Spice Girls above his bed.
More explicit images are hidden in books, including pictures from a hardcore porn magazine.
Ex-lag Matthew Gallagher says Worboys – a chocaholic who has piled on the weight – also has 10 or so photographs of a woman in her 50s from Doncaster, South Yorks.
She regularly writes to him and has sent pics posing in her undies.
Matthew said: “He says she’s besotted with him and ‘knows I ain’t what they say I am’. I asked if he’ll meet up with her when he gets out. He said ‘she’s a bit old for me, but I’ll have a look’. In his mind he thinks he’s 25 and is irresistible to women.
“I remember once when he saw the presenter Laura Whitmore on TV. He said: ‘I could get her. She’d love me in my sailor’s uniform’. He said he looked like Richard Gere from An Officer and a Gentleman.
“Another time he was telling me how he used to be a stripper and started gyrating to music, saying ‘I’ve still got it!’ He’s deluded.”
Worboys earns £10 a week for cleaning his ground-floor landing. He plays poker once a week and likes watching TV or DVDs – with dating show Take Me Out and crime drama NCIS among his favourites.
A collection of 20 books includes The Corpse Garden, about Gloucester’s House of Horrors murderer Fred West.
