Appeals park bus lane fines

ONLY one motoring fine has been upheld out of 139 cases taken to tribunals, figures show.

All the drivers had appealed against penalty notices issued for wrongly entering a bus-only zone in Chelmsford, Essex.

The county council has made £ 1.5million from 43,864 fines since cameras were put up last year.
