Hurtigruten is expanding its expedition programme into the Alaskan wilderness with the new hybrid-powered MS Roald Amundsen.

Beginning in summer 2020, she will take passengers to places where big ships can’t, covering the highlights of the Inside Passage combined with off-the-beaten-track destinations.

MS Roald Amundsen will conclude her 2020 Alaska season with an epic Northwest Passage transit from Nome, via Greenland to Halifax.

Hurtigruten’s signature Expedition Team of geologists, biologists, geographers, historians and activity guides will be on board, with a maximum of 500 explorers. The 14-day Alaska and British Columbia – Wilderness, Glaciers and Culture, is £3,039pp, for bookings before March 31. Depart from Anchorage on June 6, 2020, disembarking in Vancouver.
