Ford’s hot Paris date
GEORGE FORD goes headto-head with Finn Russell in Paris, praying there is no repeat of their last meeting.
The England and Scotland fly-halves last opposed each other at Murrayfield in February – when Russell steered the Scots to Calcutta Cup glory.
It sparked a run of six straight defeats for England and now Ford is in a similarly bleak run with his out-of-sorts club.
Ford said: “We will go there with a mindset to win the game, give it a real good crack and get a result – because that could be the catalyst for our season.”
