Festive cards going Down (Under) well

-

BRITONS will send more Christmas cards Down Under this year than to any other country, the Royal Mail predicts.

Australia is the UK’s favourite international Christmas card destination – with 34 per cent of cards posted overseas making their way there.

Other top destinations are expected to be the US, with 32 per cent, Canada, 16 per cent, and France 12 per cent.

The Royal Mail says four in 10 Britons regularly send Christmas cards abroad.

Spokesman Mark Street said: “Cards are a fantastic way of reminding someone that they are in your thoughts.”
