A classic piece of roadside Americana, Cadillac Ranch is a public art installation near Amarillo, Texas.
It was created in 1974 by the New Orleans art group Ant Farm, who half-buried 10 Cadillacs nose-first in the Texan soil. Amarillo is renowned for the Is This the Way song by Tony Christie, and Cadillac Ranch was a Bruce Springsteen single.
