Mark of a Euro star

MARK WILSON, England’s new back row star, aims to be the talk of the Toon today.

The 29-year-old Cumbrian (below), voted Red Rose player of the autumn, returns to the Newcastle side for a key Champions Cup clash against Edinburgh.

Wilson missed last week’s defeat when Falcons boss Dean Richards paid for sending a weakened side north of the border.

But he is over his ear infection and back for the Kingston Park showdown — which could draw Newcastle’s biggest Euro crowd — along with Niki Goneva, Toby Flood, Sinoti Sinoti and John Hardie.
