HUSBAND OF MUM JAILED Nazanin is petrified over new lumps in her breast

A MUM who has spent 1,000 days locked up in Iran is “petrified” by a new health scare and is in near constant pain, her husband revealed yesterday.

Nazanin Zaghari- Ratcliffe has found more lumps in her breast but prison bosses refuse to let her see a doctor, her husband Richard said.

In an exclusive Sunday Mirror interview Richard, 43, vowed to step up his fight to free his British-Iranian wife.

He said Nazanin is in agony due to an undiagnosed neurological condition and needs a mammogram and MRI scan after finding lumps in her breast – for the second time.

Richard said: “She has found some new lumps in the last couple of weeks and is petrified. She really needs another mammogram.

“The prison doctor thinks the pain in her neck, arms and legs, particularly on the right side, are connected to her nervous system and she really needs to see a neurologist to find out what is going on.

“The trouble is the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, who we believe are behind any decisions made by prison authorities, don’t care if she suffers.
