Brit in ski lift death plunge

A BRIT died after having a suspected heart attack and falling more than 30ft from a ski chairlift.

Jeff Martin, 65, was with a friend when he had a seizure on Friday.

It is not known if a safety bar was locked down.

A spokesman for mountain rescue at the Meribel resort in France said: “The friend thought the victim was joking around but he was suffering a heart attack. They had only just departed on the lift.”

Mr Martin, a keen sailor from Falmouth, Cornwall, was on holiday with family. IT’S not long now before Doria Ragland becomes a grandmother – with daughter Meghan expecting her first baby with Prince Harry in the spring.

For now, though, we reckon the 62-year-old yoga instructor is practising her child’s pose. She was spotted with her car keys after teaching a class in LA.
