Banksy ‘says cheers’ to a doomed pub

- BY DAN WARBURTON

STREET artist Banksy is believed to have daubed a derelict building dubbed the “pub from hell”.

An image of a man with a fat leg and holding a beer appeared on the old Albion Pub in Grimsby yesterday.

Druggies have used the building for years and the owner planned to bulldoze it and erect flats. It could now be worth a fortune.

Susan Chesman, first to spot the graffiti at 4.30am, said: “I hope it’s Banksy. Maybe he is saying cheers to the good times before the Albion is pulled down.”
