KATIE Price last night faced a new fight to protect her disabled son as three policemen were accused of mocking him in a video.

The British Transport Police apparently found a mobile phone video in which a rail cop allegedly abused Harvey and two others added comments.

An officer is being investigated for gross misconduct, and may face criminal charges, the others for lesser misconduct claims. All three face a disciplinary hearing later in the year.

Mum-of-five Katie, 41, has spent years defending Harvey, 17, from vile troll attacks.

A source said: “She’s sick of people making her son the butt of tasteless jokes. These are grave allegations.”

In 2007, a magazine apologised to her after giving away stickers of him with the slogan ‘Harvey wants to eat me!’.

In February an online pranksters photoshopped Harvey’s face on to a jihadi bride.

And in 2017 a worker was sacked for posting he hoped Harvey choked on sweets and called him a “poor c***” with a string of derogatory comments.

of offenders. Her petition attracted 221,914 signatures. In January she won MPs’ backing.

Helen Jones, chairwoman of the Commons Petitions Committee, said: “It is shameful disabled people have been forced off social media while abusers face no consequences.”

Katie, who has a diary of the abuse, is especially protective of Harvey, who is partially blind, autistic and gains weight easily due to Prader-Willi syndrome.

In 2017, she said: “I have had so many disgusting things [said] about him. They don’t do it to any of my other kids.”

A police spokesman said of the claims about the officers at a Scottish station: “We can confirm an officer is under investigation in relation to allegations of gross misconduct and potential criminal offences. Two further officers, are also under investigation.”

The officer accused of mocking Harvey has been transferred to a station in the north east of England.

The BTP is responsible for policing the UK’s rail network.

Katie and the British Transport Police Federation, representing the three officers, declined to comment.
