Euromillions ‘losers’ still took £3.5m
TWO British Euromillions players won £ 3.5million without even scooping the lottery’s jackpot on Friday.
The jackpot prize fund has swelled to record levels after rolling over 20 times since July.
It reached its cap of £169million last week, so the lower category prizes have grown instead.
Friday’s draw saw two UK players take £3,530,286 with five numbers and one of the two lucky stars.
If a Brit wins Tuesday’s jackpot they would top Colin and Chris Weir, of Largs, North Ayrshire, who won £161million in 2011.
A Millionaire Maker player who has failed to claim their £1million since April 2 must collect it today or it goes to good causes. The ticket was from Brent, North London.
