Greta is our superhero
Good old Greta Thunberg can really shake up a room. The 16-year-old’s powerful speech at the UN climate change summit should shame us all.
I watched with goosebumps as she accused world leaders of “empty words” and “betrayal” and of turning a blind eye to the climate crisis. “How dare you!” she raged.
We have to accept the blame and act. Not shoot the messenger with vile tweets and memes, mocking her for having Asperger’s.
Greta says her autism is her superpower because she does not care about social codes. She is not afraid.
She is raging from the heart and has galvanised a global movement.
Proof you don’t need a cape to save the world. Just to speak the truth – and have leaders who will listen.
