Sanchez down, and out

ALEXIS SANCHEZ scored his first goals for Inter Milan yesterday – and was then promptly sent off for diving.

Sanchez, on loan from Manchester

United, netted twice in Inter’s 3-1 win over Sampdoria, before being handed a second yellow card for simulation.

He will now miss next week’s top of the table clash with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus.

Ronaldo will be there though, having sealed victory with a secondhalf header in Juve’s 2-0 win over SPAL on his return from injury.

Miralem Pjanic had put Juventus ahead, but their former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri insisted his main focus was on the Champions League.

He said: “I haven’t watched any Inter games this season. We’ve focused mainly on the teams we are facing next.

“Tonight, we’ll watch a couple of Bayer Leverkusen matches and then go to dinner.”
