Doctor Who star’s todger trauma tale

- BY PAUL HOOPER

ACTOR Christopher Eccleston has revealed he once got his manhood trapped in his fly zip for two hours – before his brother helped get it out.

The former Doctor Who actor, 55, said he was 14 and “doing what teenage boys do” when he frantically ripped the zip up on his corduroy jeans after he heard his brother come in.

He said: “I was surprised, pulled the zip up and nearly circumcised myself.

“I was in an agony of existential embarrassment. I bear the scar to this day.”

A lost Doctor Who episode from 1965 has been recreated by students and graduates. Mission to the Unknown, broadcast in 1965, was not archived, so the University of Central Lancashire students filmed it themselves.
