Car rage yob deliberately ran over rival

POLICE have arrested a man after a car was deliberately driven at another motorist three times as he got out of his vehicle.

A si lver Vauxhall Insignia hit him twice and he was treated in hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident in the St George area of Bristol on Friday.

Detective Inspector Kristina Windsor said: “It could have been much worse. The victim was extremely lucky to escape with the injuries he did.

“It appears the offender has driven his vehicle deliberately at the victim after he got out of his car.”

The 22-year-old suspect is in police custody.
