Marquez: I won’t blame my crash

MARC MARQUEZ says he won’t use Friday’s crash as an excuse if he doesn’t manage to lift his sixth MotoGP world title in Thailand today.

The defending fivetime champion has his first chance to lift the 2019 title at Chang International Circuit this morning as he hits the track with a 98-point lead. But the Repsol Honda rider, who crashed again during qualifying, admitted: “I have a little bit of pain, but it’s no excuse.”

Meanwhile, British Superbike Championship points leader Scott Redding took pole ahead of today’s race at Donington Park.
