BAYERN MUNICH fell to their season’s first Bundesliga defeat after crashing 2-1 at home to Hoffenheim yesterday.
Just four days after their Champions League rout of Tottenham, Bayern were stunned by Hoffenheim’s first ever win at Allianz Arena.
Sargis Adamyan opened the scoring before Robert Lewandowski levelled with his 15th goal of the season. But Adamyan struck again for a famous win against the German champions.
Borussia Dortmund twice squandered the lead and conceded a 90th-minute own goal from Manuel Akanji at Freiburg for their third straight league draw.
Axel Witsel’s volley from a corner put the visitors in the driving seat but Freiburg levelled through Luca Waldschmidt.
Dortmund, who also wasted leads in their last two league games, saw Achraf Hakimi put them back ahead again on 67 minutes.
But Akanji flicked a cutback into his own net at the death.
