She lay there more than an hour before she was given a bed. And it took five hours before she was eventually treated by an overstretched doctor.
Lacey’s mum Carla, 33, said: “There were babies lying in the corridors and this is just the tip of the iceberg. I don’t think Boris Johnson has a clue.”
Lacey was rushed to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on December 21. The hospital apologised, saying it had been an “exceptionally busy” day.
