Toffees sweet on Den
EVERTON are chasing Saint-Etienne winger Denis Bouanga – after the French club’s boss Claude Puel admitted they may HAVE to sell because of the crisis.
The £8million-rated Bouanga (above), 25, scored 12 goals in 35 appearances this season, enough to make him top scorer as his team avoided relegation from Ligue 1.
Those figures have attracted scouts from across Europe, and although former Leicester City boss Puel resisted offers in January, the situation is now very different.
Puel said: “Bouanga is very important for us. But with coronavirus the money situation is decisive for the club. It will be difficult to keep him.”
