Adele’s set to tour and Feel our Love First new music in 5 years… and a £100m payday
Props to for making history yet again with her latest Vogue cover shoot.
The supermodel looks sensational at 50 on the cover of Spanish Vogue.
But she reserves her praise for the photographer – the first black photographer to take Naomi’s photo for the publishing house Conde Nast.
Naomi says: “This is a special cover for me as it’s the first time in my 34-year career that I was photographed by a black photographer for Vogue/Conde Nast.
“Nadine, it truly was an honour. I learned a new work ethic from you, another style of how to be… I can’t tell you how nervous I was inside.
“I wanted to be able to hold up what you envisioned… the stillness and quieting of oneself.”
I can’t imagine Naomi staying quiet for very long!
There were fears she’d never tour again, but superstar is set for a staggering £100million return to the stage.
The Rumour Has It singer has been busy creating music for a fourth album.
But as well as ending her five-year recording hiatus, the 32-year-old mum plans a global comeback tour, to be unveiled next year.
A source says concert promoters who own the O2 in London, among other venues, are eager to deal with the pop star exclusively.
They reveal: “It’s very early days but AEG and Live Nation are both making bids with mega-money advances to secure the deal exclusively.
“They know her comeback will be one of the biggest of this decade and is set to sell out within minutes.” The tour backs a new album which had been expected in September.
But manager Jonathan Dickens confirmed this week it was delayed, saying only: “It’ll be ready when it’s ready.”
My sources tell me a new year’s release is on the cards.
If the tour goes ahead as planned, Adele could rake in £100million on ticket sales alone, based on earnings from her 16 months on the road that ended in June 2017.
Newly uncovered figures show she made £70million from tickets for the 121 gigs on her Adele Live tour, and £142million overall. The source explains: “Ticket income is boosted by royalties from merchandise and VIP and hospitality packages.”
Adele confessed to fans at a gig in March, 2017: “Touring isn’t something I’m good at.
“Applause makes me feel vulnerable. The only reason I’ve toured is you.” I can also reveal the star is keen to return to London’s Wembley stadium – where she had to cancel her final two 2017 dates due to vocal cord damage.
She told fans: “I wanted my final shows in London – I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again.” When she does, I’ll be the first through the door…
Having as a father-in-law is scary enough, so spare a thought for model the boyfriend of
who has to deal with daily ribbing by Oasis fans.
After Molly, 22, tagged him in her Instagram posts, one told her “his days are numbered, surely”.
Another said: “He’s punching so high it’s unreal.” Harsh!
But Louis, 23, seems able to take it on the chin.
When a fan asked ex-Oasis rocker Liam, 47, for his thoughts on the lad, Louis was quick to jump in, answering: “10/10 I reckon.”
I’m sure he fits in well.
I was speaking with a cloudologist, watching the sunset, and I said, ‘Look at those cumulus beauties’ and he said, ‘Those are actually cumulonimbus’. It was mortifying.
I walked by Chris Martin on the beach on January 1, 2018, at sunset. It was like being in the music video for Yellow.
