Duchess hints at Royals race rift
MEGHAN Markle has hinted that the Royals silenced her views on racism.
The Duchess of Sussex told US website The 19th, which focuses on women’s empowerment, she looks forward to “using my voice in a way that I haven’t been able to of late”.
And after speaking about her “devastation” at the death of George Floyd, she urged women to vote to change America for the better, while also revealing Harry has never been allowed to enter a ballot box.
Speaking during a virtual summit on Friday, Meghan, 39, said: “It’s not new to see this undercurrent of racism, to see the changes being made right now. It’s something I look forward to being a part of.
“Women’s voices are needed now more than ever and the best way to exercise that is through voting.”
