Motorist rail crash escape
A CAR driver has survived being hit by a train.
The driver was treated by paramedics after being rescued by firefighters.
Nine passengers on the train which collided with the car in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, about 6am yesterday, were uninjured.
Police Scotland said there are not thought to be any life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent nine crews to the scene who helped the passengers.
