Locals blast fishy Rishi for jumping a car ferry queue
RISHI Sunak’s bid to lovebomb the Scots backfired when he queue-barged to board an island car ferry.
The Chancellor was among four Cabinet ministers sent on a charm offensive to counter growing calls for independence.
But Mr Sunak’s three- car motorcade swept past Bute islanders waiting for the
35- minute boat journey from MOTORCADE
Wemyss Bay to Rothesay, leaving no room for some to board. Instead they were left to wait hours for the next crossing.
Bute Island Radio presenter Mike Blair, 76, said irate listeners called him to complain while he was on air.
Mr Blair, 76, said: “He upset a lot of people.
“The Chancellor used up so much space that others who had been waiting patiently were
unable to get on.”
