Ivic in at Hornets
WATFORD last night confirmed Vladimir Ivic as their new manager.
The Serbian, 43, has agreed a one-year deal, with the former Maccabi Tel Aviv boss, who won the title twice in Israel, succeeding Nigel Pearson in the hot-seat.
Pearson was sacked two games before the end of the Premier League season, and caretaker Hayden Mullins failed to prevent the Hornets falling into the Championship.
Ivic said: “It’s my first time in England and I need to adapt as fast as possible.
“I’ve worked with my coaching staff for three years. I know that we will ask the most from ourselves so we can help the players to achieve the club’s goals.”
