Police shoot man 11 times

POLICE have been filmed shooting a black man 11 times at a petrol station.

He ignored police orders to lay on the ground and was fatally shot at the shop walking away from the six or so officers.

A witness, who videoed the police in Lafayette, Louisiana, said the man appeared to have a knife.

Louisiana State Police said the man had been involved in a previous altercation. The officers are on paid leave pending an investigation.
