Ronnie was fab but jest a minute...
Ronnie O’Sullivan was magnificent last weekend, winning his sixth world snooker title.
He was at his best in coming back to beat Mark Selby, otherwise known as the Jester from Leicester.
This is the daftest nickname in sport, as Selby is a brilliant but dour sullen figure. The snooker authorities must insist if he wants to keep this name, he has to drive round the table in a kiddies’ pedal car, singing:
“I’m the
Prime
Minister.”
