Taylor Swift gave a student £23,000 so that she could take up her maths degree at the University of Warwick.

This is the future of education. Instead of expecting taxpayers to pay for students to add up numbers, we should get singers to do it. Primary school children can write to Olly Murs, hoping he’ll pay for them to learn the six times table. Teachers can say “I would like to thank Rihanna, who kindly paid for us to have the heating on long enough, to work out the area of this triangle”.
