Taylor sums it up

-

Teenager Vitoria Mario couldn’t afford to g go to uni to study maths – until T Taylor Swift entered the equ equation.

T The pop superstar do donated £23,000 to her Go GoFundMe page to help Vit Vitoria smash the £40,000 ta target she had set to co cover her accommodatio tion, food and books at W Warwick University.

Vitoria moved to L London from Portugal fo four years ago, leaving be behind her family. When she arrived, she couldn’t spea speak English, but has gone on to get two A*s and an A in her A-levels. She’s one smart girl but not eligible for any grants, so had to try her luck online.

She wrote she was a “black girl with a dream” and that dream was to be a mathematician, which would also help her family have a better life. And Taylor paid out to make that possible.

But like Vitoria said, her story is not unique. So many talented kids from disadvantaged backgrounds can only dream of going to uni.

And it would need more than TayTay’s piggy bank to sort that out... perhaps a government that wants to give everyone an equal chance at life?
