Dan eyes Stoke bid

DANNY SIMPSON is searching for a new club and could end up at Stoke following his acrimonious departure from Huddersfield.

The 33-year-old right-back, a Premier League winner with Leicester City, left the Terriers on June 30 after his deal was not extended.

Simpson, writing on Twitter at the time, said: “I am saddened by the outcome and the way the situation was handled.

“It was very unprofessional.”
