Train bosses deny refunds

RAIL bosses are refusing refunds on advance tickets hit by new lockdowns.

People in Tier 3 areas told not to travel can only change the date for the cheap fares – for a £10 fee.

Neil Le Milliere, 67, of Tottenham, north London, said: “It seems wrong.”

In the March lockdown, train firms were bailed out to refund advance fares.
