Do him justice

The outrage over George Floyd’s death at the hands of police officers who were restraining him ripped America apart.

Now, Britain has her own George Floyd in tragic Kevin Clarke.

He too was filmed while being restrained by police. He too complained he could not breathe. He too is dead.

And an inquest jury decided that the restraint contributed.

Too often in America, the guilty are let off the hook if they wear a police uniform.

That’s what sparked nationwide riots.

It is essential for the harmony of this nation that our police show just how much black lives matter – by bringing their own to book if an inquiry shows that their own were in any way responsible.
