Price danger from no-deal
A NO-DEAL Brexit could hike the price of imported goods by 30 per cent, a business group has said.
Logistics UK warned prices would be particularly high in early 2021 when much of the UK’s fresh food is imported.
Chief executive David Wells said logistics firms would also struggle with extra layers of red tape.
He said: “We are urging the Government to keep pressing for a deal.”
The Brexit transition period ends on January 1.
