‘Stowaway’ home 2yrs on
RUBY the cat is back with her owner after going missing for two-and-a-half years.
The five-year-old was found on an industrial estate in Coventry – 60 miles away from Jordan Harvey’s home.
A security guard who fed the “stray” for three weeks had her checked by Cats Protection, which scanned her microchip and traced her to Bedfordshire. Ruby vanished from her Brogborough home, near an M1 truck stop, and Jordan believes she stowed away in a lorry.
Jordan thanked the security guard and charity – and urged owners to “chip” their pets. He said: “No words can describe the happiness I’m feeling. I had little hope of finding her.”
