Women more likely to keep fit in the cold
WOMEN are more likely than men to battle through bad weather and carry on exercising outdoors after the clocks go back.
Less than half of fitness enthusiasts keep it up over the colder months, with a third of men admitting they are put off by cold, wind, and rain, compared to just 30% of women.
Sports retailer Wiggle found most joggers in the North East (44%) are most likely to be put off by bad weather, compared to only 30% of Londoners.
It advised them to be prepared with the correct kit and look at indoor training options.
