WAYNE PIVAC’S Wales warmed up for their Six Nations finale by coming up short against France in Paris last night.

Leigh Halfpenny crossed within 60 seconds for a try and the boot put Wales into a 10-point lead.

But France didn’t look back once prop Cyril Baille powered over.

And they were soon going through the gears with man-of-the match scrum-half Antoine Dupont scoring two tries.

Dan Biggar punished France ill-discipline to keep the Dragons in the contest.

But skipper Alun Wyn Jones, who will eclipse Richie McCaw’s world record of 148 caps, against Scotland on Saturday, still ended on the losing side.
