PAUL SCHOLES says Salford must be “ready to go again” after they were denied by George Francomb’s equaliser.

James Wilson’s opener was only enough for a point and interim boss Scholes said:

“It’s another quick turnaround to Tuesday (at Scunthorpe) so we need to rest up and make sure we are ready to go again.”

John Yems called Crawley’s display “absolutely fantastic”.

JOHN ASKEY hopes Mitch Clark’s superb winner is just the start.

The full-back curled home to add to Nathan Smith’s opener, then cleared off the line to deny Harry Clarke an equaliser after Zak Dearnley pulled one back. “We’ve seen that before from Mitch,” said Askey. “It was a great finish and hopefully that will give him more of the confidence he needs.”

Oldham assistant boss Alan Maybury admitted Harry Kewell’s coronavirus absence made things difficult but added: “We have to stop shooting ourselves in the foot.”
