AJAX ripped up the record books in Holland after scoring a staggering 13 goals in their rout of sorry VVV-Venlo.

The Eredivisie champions thrashed their 10-man hosts 13-0 in a one-sided league clash yesterday. It was the biggest win in the league’s history as Venlo collapsed in the second half.

Already 4-0 down, Venlo went on to leak nine further goals after Christian Kum was sent off in the 52nd minute.

Lassina Traore bagged five goals with former Premier league stars Daley Blind and Dusan Tadic also weighing in.
