The Clooneys are coming... weddy or not

Would you turn up to the nuptials of someone you didn’t really know very well?

Well it seems that’s exactly what George and Amal Clooney did when they went to Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May 2018.

They were rumbled when Princess Diana’s old flatmate Carolyn Bartholomew asked them how they knew the bride and groom.

The Clooneys replied: “We don’t.”

I probably wouldn’t have turned down a royal invite either, but I reckon I fared better than the Clooneys.

I got to watch from my sofa, eating nibbles and popping in n and out whenever I fancied during that oh-so-long sermon.
