Car-mad mo­torists still love to go out driv­ing Miss Daisy

DAISY is the most pop­u­lar name for a car – with mo­torists in­spired by the 1989 movie Driv­ing Miss Daisy star­ring Mor­gan Freeman and Jes­sica Tandy.

A poll re­vealed 36 per cent ent of car own­ers name their ve­hi­cle, e, with Daisy top at six per cent, fol­lowed owed by Baby, Ruby and Neville.

Harry, Betsy, Bertha, Buddy uddy and Max were other pop­u­lar ular choices, while Yoda, Darth, arth, IN­SPI­RA­TION Jes­sica Tandy

Scooby, Pas­sion Wagon and Pimp Mo­bile also fea­tured.

Around half of driv­ers told dash-cam sup­plier Nextbase they liked to be alone in their car for some me-time, while a fifth said the they missed their mo­tor when they wer were on hol­i­day.

A qu quar­ter said they did not let anyon any­one else drive their car.
