Car-mad motorists still love to go out driving Miss Daisy

DAISY is the most popular name for a car – with motorists inspired by the 1989 movie Driving Miss Daisy starring Morgan Freeman and Jessica Tandy.

A poll revealed 36 per cent ent of car owners name their vehicle, e, with Daisy top at six per cent, followed owed by Baby, Ruby and Neville.

Harry, Betsy, Bertha, Buddy uddy and Max were other popular ular choices, while Yoda, Darth, arth, INSPIRATIO­N Jessica Tandy

Scooby, Passion Wagon and Pimp Mobile also featured.

Around half of drivers told dash-cam supplier Nextbase they liked to be alone in their car for some me-time, while a fifth said the they missed their motor when they wer were on holiday.
