Bayern scent victory
BAYERN MUNICH moved to the top of the Bundesliga with a 2-1 win at Cologne.
Thomas Muller opened the scoring with a penalty after Marius Wolf had hauled down Bayern’s Serge Gnabry.
The visitors doubled their lead when Gnabry curled a shot into the bottom corner before
Dominick Drexler scored late on for the hosts.
Hansi Flick’s side lead the table on goal difference from BORUSSIA
DORTMUND. Mats Hummels scored twice as Dortmund won 2-0 at ARMINIA BIELEFELD keeping pace with the league leaders.
RB LEIPZIG blew a chance to return to the top of the table after their unbeaten run was ended away to BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH.
And it was on-loan Leipzig forward Hannes Wolf who did the damage as his 60th-minute strike sunk Julian Nagelsmann’s side.
Monchengladbach moved into fourth place in the league.
