Scottish Cup Semi-Final Hearts Hibernian 1 LIAM BOYCE’S extra-time penalty sent second-tier Hearts into the Scottish Cup final after earning bragging rights over Edinburgh rivals Hibernian.
Robbie Neilson’s Championship outfit will face the winner of today’s semi-final between Celtic and Aberdeen.
And Hearts reached the final for a second consecutive year thanks to Boyce (above) scoring the 111th-minute winner.
It was a particularly sore derby defeat for Hibs

to take given they missed a spot-kick of their own just minutes earlier when Kevin Nisbet hit the bar.
Nielson said: “We rode our luck a bit for their penalty but held our nerve for ours. It was a roller-coaster ride.”

Within seven minutes Christian Doidge rose highest to loop in a header and restore parity.
Hibs won a penalty but Nisbet hit the bar.
Minutes later Boyce scored to clinch a famous win over their old foes.
