Doesn’t suit you, sir

“I AM a football coach, not a model,” snapped Julian Nagelsmann (right) as he was questioned over his sartorial judgement. After his RB Leipzig team were hammered 5-0 by a very average Manchester United side, the jury is out on that one.

FORGET the win over the Dundalk minnows, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have lost three of their last four Premier League games, scoring one goal in the process.

The chances of them winning at Old Trafford today are slim and none. Yet Arteta (above) believes his Arsenal squad is still better without Mesut Ozil than with him.

Some might believe his ostracisation of Ozil shows managerial strength. The truth is it shows a character still a rookie in the world of elite management.

AS decent as Ahmed Hegazi is, the defender, shipped out against the manager’s will it seems, is no hill for Slaven Bilic to die on.

ANYONE else think that bleating about VAR just fills the airwaves with cranky people who think it is good to call shock-jock radio phone-ins? VAR is killing football. Er, no it’s not.

SO, Premier League clubs are going to persevere with £14.95 pay-perview games? Give them their due, they never relent in taking the p***.
