Our Queen of the dancefloor
gives her verdict...
Star Wars may be Jason’s favourite movie but the Paso Doble wasn’t his favourite dance. No cape, no matador, no fierce character. Flat-footed and clumpy, and please, less of the cheesy grin – those teeth are blinding. Jason won’t be smiling tonight when he’s in the danceoff after scoring 12.
Playing Elsa from Frozen for an American smooth suited Maisie’s personality. She owned the stage, and ended with a super lift from Gorka. Well worthy of the judges’ score of 24.
Caroline Quentin embraced her luvvie roots playing Miss Rose in Gypsy for her couple’s choice dance. She used her voice to introduce the character but her dancing was weak. Luckily the judges seemed to like it and gave her 21.
Nicola’s Greased Lightning jive was heavy-footed, and Craig summed it up when he said: “I believed you were a mechanic.”
Mmm...
Travolta she wasn’t, but she still got a 19.
