Pair wed on 4th attempt

A COUPLE forced to cancel their wedding three times have finally married.

Liza and Mark Mason got so desperate, they rearranged the ceremony in just 48 hours before the second lockdown.

The pair, from Witton Gilbert, County Durham, held an intimate ceremony with their four children at St Laurence Church in Pittington this week.

Supermarket manager Liza said: “We just got on with it and it ended up being absolutely perfect.”
