KLOPP HAS A FIRM IDEA
JURGEN KLOPP is faced with the difficult task of what to do with Roberto Firmino after leaving him out in midweek – but I think he’ll play at Manchester City.
That means Diogo Jota is likely to be dropped, despite scoring a hat-trick in his last game.
I know exactly how that feels, it happened to me… playing for Liverpool AND City.
After scoring a hat-trick, you obviously believe you are on fire and want to keep going. Jota will feel like that. He scored six goalsg in four different games in 10 days and will fee feel invincible.
But Klopp knows the system he wants and I think Firmino will be key to that. No Premier League player won possession more than him last term – which is staggering for a forward. That will be the key to pressing City and forcing mistakes. And that, to me, means he’ll play.
