Foden to get City rise

PHIL FODEN is in line for a bumper pay rise at Manchester City.

The 20-year-old England midfielder signed a six-year contract in July 2018 – worth around £25,000 per week – but he can now expect to treble that amount.

City chiefs are confident those improved terms, allied to significant bonuses, will convince Foden to put pen to paper early next year.
