Browne eyes win

ALAN BROWNE can’t wait to test himself against England’s elite – and believes an upset is on the cards.

The Republic of Ireland midfelder (above) said: “It’s always good to test yourselves against the best and these midfielders are the best, playing week in, week out in the Premier League.

“You want to see how far off their level you are because they’re at the very top of the game.”

Browne, who skippers Championship Preston, added: “Hopefully we can go to Wembley and beat them.”
