KEVIN WILKIN praised Brackley’s resilience after they needed penalties to reach round two.
Lee Ndlovu and Matt Lowe put Brackley 2-0 up, but Darren Foxley pulled one back and, although Tre Mitford restored the two-goal cushion, Bishop’s Stortford forced extra time through Tom Richardson and Foxley’s second.
“We’ve been on the wrong end of pens recently,” said Wilkin. “To come through is a credit to the resilience of those lads.”
MARK BENTLEY praised his Canvey Island side after they withstood a second-half barrage.
