European Round-Up

EDEN HAZARD has tested positive for coronavirus and the Real Madrid star is set to miss Belgium’s Nations League game against England a week today.

He will now undergo a period of self-isolation with the positive result appearing to rule him out of the clash against the Three Lions.

He will miss Real’s trip to Valencia today alongside

Casemiro, who also tested positive.

Manager Zinedine Zidane said: “It’s very tough for him and is a delicate moment due to all the injuries he has had recently. But he is in good spirits and that’s the most important thing.”

Barcelona earned their first league win in five games after routing Real Betis 5-2 yesterday.

Lionel Messi came off the bench at half-time with the score at 1-1 to inspire Ronald Koeman’s men.

Messi’s stepover set up Antoine Griezmann and he then converted a penalty after Aissa Mandi was sent off for handball on the line before adding a second late on.
